Cook Island Week 🇨🇰🌴

Kia orana bloggers

Have you ever been to Cook Island?

I haven't but this week is Cook Island Language Week. We have been focusing about on th words in Cook Island Maori. Such as oneone is one way of saying sand in Cook Island. Miss Daly (one of our teacher's) got a trip to Rarotonga and she made a slideshow about it and it had lots of activities. For example guessing what someone saying, doing or wearing  and typing and what you see. But the tricky part was we had to type it in Cook Island.

Here is a link of my work:

Bye blogger and Blog you later. 😀

  1. Meitaki Vivian! I enjoyed using Miss Dalys photos and experiences to help me learn the Cook Island language. I was particularly interested in the photos taken at the local schools and the pig on the umu! What were some other Cook Island words you learned from doing this task? Nga mihi, Mrs Jones.
