Hola Blogger
Today SLJ is Probably my favorite activity. This activity is called Summer Essential. First of all what those the word Essential mean. One of the meaning of Essential is necessary. Another is one of the meaning is VERY important. Now for this activity I had to make a "Summer Collage". This is mine
I use a lot of picture that we Use, See, Go, Eat and Do in summer.
I think this was a really fun activity my favorite part is finding the images. Because there were a lot of cool ones but most of them are based / related to New Zealand.

Wow! you have some great images that really do scream summer! I like the way you have included the definitions of essential.
Pohutukawa trees in bloom are very important to me too. I love the variety of reds and even though they only last a short time that makes them even more special.
Could you add why these images are essential for summer for you?

Kia ora Vivian,
ReplyDeleteAwesome work defining what ‘essential means’! It is so important to understand a task before you begin it, it will make it easier and hopefully more enjoyable!
Well done thinking about what you use, see, go, eat and do during summer, it looks like a lot of outdoor places, water, cold food and drinks and fun! Have you been doing some of these things over summer?
What are your favourite things to see, eat and do over summer? Mine are seeing my friends, eating berries and reading books outside!
Great job creating a collage that is so neat and organized! Was it tricky to get each photo in the right place? They are all different sized photos so I think you did a fantastic job!
Keep up the awesome work, I’m looking forward to seeing your next blog post.

My name is Quein and I am a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. Thank you for sharing your amazing work. I really liked the pohutukawa tree by the breach, it definitely is symbolic of the classic kiwi summer. It was really good to see you included sunscreen and water which are essential in summer.
You should be very proud of your super summer mahi!!
What do some of these images mean to you? The sea and the ice-cream remind me of the times I spend with my family at the beach.
Keep up the Super work we look forward to your next blog post!!!
Have a Super Summer!!!

Kia ora Vivian. I'm glad you enjoyed this activity. I like the way you've spaced your images to take up the whole poster. My only tip would be to make your poster a bit bigger on your blog so that people can see your awesome mahi more clearly. How many of the things in your pictures have you managed to do or see this summer so far? I think I've done/seen four.
