Aloha blogger
Today is another day for blogging and doing an activity for Summer Learning Journey.
Today's activity is called The Treasure Code. I made a copping of a slide show which had a code in it. It was about cracking the a clue to help find out of what the beach was called. I had to figure out what the clue was. Then after I figure out what the clue was I needed to use the clue so I could find out what the beach was but I didn't know what the clue for that beach was. So I searched on google what the clue gave me. I typed in "What beach has a lion rock" and it gave me the answer. Which was Piha.
Here is 2 picture of the slide of the clue looks like and the one with the code, to be correct the code that was used is a Pigpen Cipher:
At the end I need to make my own code with a clue of my favorite beach. Please comment if you know what the answer is for the beach that is my favorite. Here is a picture of my code that I wrote:
Kia Ora Vivian,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.
This activity is one of my favourites as I love code languages like pigeon code and also my Mum actually made this activity for the summer learning journey!!
You did an awesome job with this post, I enjoyed your slideshow and you deciphered the code perfectly, it is the famous hidden cave at Piha Beach!!
Great job creating your own pigeon code clue, it looked quite tricky and long but I think I have deciphered your clue, is it “this beach has the same name as my school”. I am going to guess that the beach is called Waikowhai beach!!
Let me know if I guessed correctly!!
Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
Ngā mihi nui,

Hi Zana
ReplyDeleteYour answer is correct Waikowhai is my favorite beach I went to it a few days ago. And my favorite part about it is the rock pools. It has a lot of life in them. Thanks for commenting
