With a friend

Hello blogger's

Today in class we finished the poem we wrote about"with a friend" Here is the poem I wrote:

I can sit with a friend

and dig a pit with a friend

and make yummy cakes all day.

I can eat ice cream with a friend

and play in a team with a friend

and draw in our own ways.

I can finish tasks with a friend

And make masks a friend

and share each other's things.

I can sing with a friend

and enjoy spring with a friend

and play notes like ding dong ding.

Bye blogger's 😀

Fraction art

 Kia ora bloggers

Last week Te Ana Ako did some art that used some maths. We made fraction birds. I wasn't here that day but I did it at home anyway. We had to cut out a circle. Then we cut half of the  circle off. After that we used one side and cut that into 1/8.  Lastly we  glued the  fraction to make the bird.

Bye blogger

Blog you later 😀

My favourite writing for term 4 last year

Hello blogger in last year Te Ana Ako we have been write about:
If I Were In Charge Of The World.

If I Were In Charge Of The World

If I were in charge of the world,
I’d cancel plastic bag
I’d cancel poisonous mushrooms
I’d even cancel itch bugs

If I were in charge of the world,
There would be flying vehicles
There would be free stuff
There even would  be technology

If I were in charge of the world,
You wouldn’t have to argue
You wouldn’t have brush your teeth yourself
You even wouldn’t have do your homework
Or you wouldn’t need to do any work at all.

If I were in charge of the world,
You could have play date and sleepover all the time
And the person who forgot to brush
and sometimes forgot to flush
would still be allowed to be
 in charge of the world.

Because this is me and my friends.

Corbans Estate Trip

Hello Blogger's I am Vivian.

On Wednesday 13th of November  Kaiwhare, Mokoroa and Haumia  went on a trip called
Corbans Estate to work with the Pacific Mamas . We sang some songs and learnt  how to say some words. We also learnt how to play the drums and  make leis.

When the bell ran we did the roll then the teacher put us in groups and we then went in to the bus. When we got there some of us had half of are morning tea  and then we were greet by one of the Pacific Mamas Aunty Tu.  We went inside there was loud  drumming. We  sang some songs and learnt how to say some words. Then we had morning tea. We also learnt how to play the drums and  make leis. There were heap of types of drums like the log drum and the shark skin drum.  We made the leis  for some one we want to make t feel better because Muma Jacinda  said we should give it to someone for love, of it they are sick or to say thank you or  saying sorry. I gave my one to one of the Aunty Jacinda ( not the Prime Minister ) and she give one to me.

My favourite workshop was making the leis it was so much fun! We got to choose the colours we liked.
