skateboarding

 Hi bloggers

On the 13th of November and the 20th of November, the senior and middle school classes did skateboarding. The middle school had two classes in the first week because the seniors were on a school trip. For the second week the seniors had two sections because the middle school had two classes so if the seniors got two classes it could be even. The coaches were called Ben and Lawrence. They teached how to do some different moves.

Groups

There were 2 groups. One of the groups was for the people who were more confident with skateboarding. The other group was less confident with skateboarding. The people who were confident were with Ben and the less confident people were with Lawrence.

Tips and moves

I was with Ben because I wasn’t very confident with skateboarding. I learnt how to do a crab walk and  tic tac it was fun but some of us were scared to do the actions on the concrete so we did it on the grass. We also played a game called what’s up wolf pack. This is how you play so there is a person on the skateboard and they are in front and then we call what's up wolf pack then we start skating then we the wolf turns around we need to stop. After that the wolf soon can  say dinner time. The you skate to the end the first one there is the next wolf unless the don’t want to be

With a friend

Hello blogger's

Today in class we finished the poem we wrote about"with a friend" Here is the poem I wrote:

I can sit with a friend

and dig a pit with a friend

and make yummy cakes all day.

I can eat ice cream with a friend

and play in a team with a friend

and draw in our own ways.

I can finish tasks with a friend

And make masks a friend

and share each other's things.

I can sing with a friend

and enjoy spring with a friend

and play notes like ding dong ding.

Fraction art

 Kia ora bloggers

Last week Te Ana Ako did some art that used some maths. We made fraction birds. I wasn't here that day but I did it at home anyway. We had to cut out a circle. Then we cut half of the  circle off. After that we used one side and cut that into 1/8.  Lastly we  glued the  fraction to make the bird.

Bye blogger

Blog you later 😀

My favourite writing for term 4 last year

Hello blogger in last year Te Ana Ako we have been write about:
If I Were In Charge Of The World.

If I Were In Charge Of The World

If I were in charge of the world,
I’d cancel plastic bag
I’d cancel poisonous mushrooms
I’d even cancel itch bugs

If I were in charge of the world,
There would be flying vehicles
There would be free stuff
There even would  be technology

If I were in charge of the world,
You wouldn’t have to argue
You wouldn’t have brush your teeth yourself
You even wouldn’t have do your homework
Or you wouldn’t need to do any work at all.

If I were in charge of the world,
You could have play date and sleepover all the time
And the person who forgot to brush
and sometimes forgot to flush
would still be allowed to be
 in charge of the world.

Because this is me and my friends.
